President/CEO, Goodrich "Dus" Rogers, is a 1986 graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Agricultural Business and Economics. He received his Master of Science in Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1991. He is a graduate of the New South Economic Development course from the University of Southern Mississippi, Auburn University's Intensive Economic Development course, and the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute. He has lived in Jackson County since 1988 and has served in the Alabama Army National Guard/Army Reserves since 1981. He is a graduate and past coordinator of Leadership Jackson County and a graduate of Leadership Alabama.

Vice-President, Shelia Shepard, is an honors graduate in Accounting/Business from Athens State College. She is also a graduate of the three-year Economic Development Institute program through the University of Oklahoma , and the Intensive Economic Development program at Auburn University. She is a long-time resident of Jackson County with work experience in both the Greater Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and the EDA. She is a graduate of Leadership Jackson County and is active in many local and civic affairs. She is active in the Economic Development Association of Alabama and the Southern Economic Development Conference.

Executive Assistant, Marilyn Lott, earned a B.S. degree from The University of North Alabama with a double-major in Marketing and Management. She is a graduate of Leadership Jackson County, the Intensive Economic Development course at Auburn University, and the New South Economic Development course from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has completed Sessions 1 and 2 of the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute. She grew up in North Alabama and has lived in Jackson County since 1995. She has served in various capacities doing volunteer work for non-profit organizations.

The Board serves as members of the Economic Development Authority and Jackson County Industrial Development Board of Directors.  All are appointed to four-year terms by the county commission and our local state legislators.
