Construction of a new building for KTNA (Kotobuyika Treves North America) is nearing completion in the new Jackson County Industrial Park.

Dus Rogers, president and CEO of the Jackson County Economic Development Authority, said Tuesday that everything for the building has been completed except for a punch list.

This type list consists of changes needed following an inspection of the structure.

KTNA is to manufacture interior components for Nissan vehicles assembled in Smyrna, Tenn., Rogers said.

The new plant will start off with about 20 employees and build up to some 75 eventually.

The new building contains 36,000 square feet of floor space and manufacturing equipment is being installed now, said Rogers. The opening date has not been set.

The EDA president/CEO said the Alabama Industrial Development Training will provide assistance in training new employees for the industry, which is alongside U.S. Highway 72 in Hollywood.
